IT Business Analyst

Companies need IT systems (for example software) to meet the strategic, tactical, or operational objectives they want to achieve. This is where the IT Business Analyst comes in—this is the role being described here. The IT Business Analyst acts as a bridge between the various stakeholders and the IT department.

The IT Business Analyst communicates with all stakeholders to clearly understand which IT needs are required, and to implement changes that will help the company achieve its goals.
Once these needs have been identified, the next step is to translate them into IT language. In essence, this means turning the needs into a kind of “requirements specification” that developers and testers can use.

With a specialization in functional analysis, this role carries a particular responsibility: handling the functional aspects of the solution, such as e-commerce websites, e-commerce applications, and integrations between systems.

Then, once all the necessary elements are gathered, this information is passed on to the development and testing teams. They then take over and start implementing the solution. 

Consultant

Before creating this business, a long journey had already taken place, sometimes marked by challenges. A few years ago, for example, a particularly difficult period arose. That moment of crisis became a real turning point. Instead of giving in to discouragement, the decision was made to turn this ordeal into an opportunity to reinvent and work on oneself.

A long inner journey began, exploring deep aspirations, core values and a personal vision of life.
This is how, in 2020, with unwavering determination, the consulting company Good Day Consult was founded.

Since then, every day has been an adventure. There is finally a sense of alignment with a true passion, guided by a clear vision of purpose. It has been a privilege to work with incredible clients, providing them with innovative solutions and helping them achieve their own success.

This unconventional path has taught invaluable lessons about resilience, perseverance and inner strength. There is deep gratitude for having overcome the challenges that appeared along the way, as they led to the creation of a fulfilling and meaningful professional life.

Freelance

Before becoming self-employed, I worked for many years as a consultant for consulting firms, including SkillTeam, a former IBM subsidiary, as well as GFI Informatique, now Inetum.
I carried out several assignments there for major accounts in the field of software engineering, mainly as a developer, analyst and expert in certain software products such as eBusiness, groupware, websites and intranet sites.

After that, I continued my career as a software engineer and then as a functional analyst in the retail sector.

At the beginning of the 2020 pandemic, I decided to return to the consulting world, but this time as an independent consultant. It was in this context that I founded Good Day Consult SRL to support my freelance consulting activity.
